We all once rose from wondrous light,
wonders blazing, fierce and bright.
That translucent glow from skies above
touches all, ignites the love.
And feeling that crystalline flame,
a sudden fear rushed through my frame—
that fire might fade, consumed by time,
lost to the weight of human crime.
Weeping, I sank upon the ground,
shaken, spent, without a sound.
Yet in that glow a truth took flight:
the fire endures, eternal light.
It burns and burns, unchained, alive,
beyond all dark, it will survive.
It pulses through the stars, the skies,
through every heart, through every sigh.
And in that flame the truth shone clear:
this fire never ends, it’s always here.
It sings in whispers, roars in might,
it holds the day, it warms the night.
The flame is Being, pure, immense,
the first, the last, beyond all sense.
It cannot fade, it cannot die,
it lives in you, it lives in I.
