Iconstrata derives from the words "icon" (image) and "strata" (layers). It is an artistic technique that involves the layering of various sheet materials — such as cardstock, acrylic, plastic, wood, veneer, and others — to create visual depth and dimensionality within an image. By combining multiple materials of differing opacity, texture, and thickness, Iconstrata produces a multi-planar effect, allowing light and shadow to interact between layers. Our goal is to expand wherever there’s a heart willing to help — across other states and, in time, across borders. Every purchase and every act of support builds momentum — from one city to many, creating ripples of change that reach further than any single artwork could on its own.

How it practically works? Creation: Each icon is handcrafted using the Iconostrata technique — layered, pressed, and sealed for lasting durability. Selection: Supporters choose from available editions (00, X0, or XX) on a first-come, first-served basis. Contribution: Funds from each purchase are allocated directly to community initiatives — feeding and caring for people experiencing homelessness. Action: The funds are used within 30 days, converted into meals, clothes, and care through verified outreach efforts on the ground. Impact: Each contribution is documented and shared on YouTube, allowing supporters to see how art becomes action — transforming creativity into compassion.
